Thanks to the Birmingham committee for the invite to judge and the friendly hospitality given to myself and Vicky. A big thank you to my efficient stewards Dorothy and Glenda who kept me in check also many thanks to the exhibitors for their trust in me to assess their treasures. I had a lovely day, I hope the ring side critics could follow my placings, looking at my line ups I was pleased that I was able to find exhibits that fitted the breed standard. Scanning my results I noted that four of my first placing were sired by the same dog and produced similar type off springs to different bitches. Having said that movement still needs working on, if it’s not addressed soon, up and coming judges will never see the correct movement of our lovely breed and it will be gone forever. |

Thank you exhibitors for a lovely entry and the sporting way you took your placings a nice entry for a working day. I found quality in all classes, I don’ t think one class went without applause, which made a pleasant change to the atmosphere around the ring. Well done to you all. Again, movement was my deciding factor when splitting hairs. A Shih Tzu moves correctly if it is built correctly |
