This is an outstanding Shih Tzu which is ticking all boxes as far as breed type is concerned. She moves arrogantly with the front legs reaching well forward and with strong rear action showing full pads. Her head is superb with an arrogant carriage and she gives a picture of complete balance and harmony. She is expertly presented and handled to perfection. It was a hard job for Miss Black to come up against Majic Potion in the greatest of form. Both these dogs move to perfection, but in the end, I thought Miss Black carried herself best and her presentation made a difference. BIS |

Her head is very typical with large dark eyes, correct nose, well placed and high set ears giving that mildly superior look. A top-quality exhibit whom I was happy to consider for RCC. |

A nicely arched neck, into well laid back shoulders, well bodied and deep round chest. She has strong hindquarters, and fabulous angulation, which again make moving round the ring effortless. She is the most exquisite type, feminine throughout, presents a perfectly balanced outline and has the arrogant carriage both standing and on the move which is so very important in the Shih Tzu. Beautiful head and expression, feminine with round skull of nice breadth, dark round eyes of good size and set well apart, good width of muzzle, wide open nostrils, excellent underjaw and correct dentition. She was a delight to go over with nicely arched neck of good length, firm level topline with excellent ribbing, short muscular loin and good tail for both set and carriage. Faultless construction with good layback of shoulder, well let down chest of good breadth and muscular hindquarters with correct angulation. Moving soundly all through, using herself fully with excellent drive from the rear and showing full pad. Presented in first class order and shown to advantage. A thoroughly well deserved CC & BOB here today from a quality entry. |

However, my stumbling block with her was that to my eye she lack a little in maturity and in turn did not have the body and muscle I was looking for. That said I feel when she is fully mature so is going to be a real force to be reckoned with because she has all the right things in the right places and can only but have a bright and glittering future, I am not surprised she already holds her title, but I think the future will bring far more exciting things. |
